Wow! Hard to believe he has been ours for 6 months! He is such a joy in our lives and can't imagine life without him (well...we sure would sleep more!)

But sacrifice is giving up one thing for something greater!

Riding in style

Samuel outgrew his infant carseat by 2 whole inches. Ryan and I went searching for a new carseat this week-end and came home with a la-z-boy!

Happy Mother's Day

Today was my first REAL mother's day. I was able to spend it with my family and Ryan's family while Ryan and I were "commissioned" at church to be parents centered around the gospel. It was so neat to have our families pray for us as parents as we raise this little boy!

Thanks Ryan for making my day special. As a present I get a night out with my favorite friend Ivey and get a massage. Can't wait to plan that night out while the boys watch the babes!

Samuel has now learned to suck on his feet.

Trip to Richmond

We traveled up to Richmond for a quick trip. While we were there, Pop pop and Mimi ceremoniously planted a tree for Samuel that he will one day be able to climb.
